This is a four-video series of online tutorials, walking you through everything from your supply list to sealing your beautiful painted finish to make it last – one step at a time.
The tutorial is broken down into one video per step and is designed to allow you to watch at your own pace. Whether you have a project you are anxious to paint and need to speed-watch all the videos at once, or you want to watch one video at a time while you complete each step on your project. You can work at your own pace and will have access to the videos for as long as this website exists!

Video 2 – Prep: Walking you through how to properly prep your piece prior to painting, with special attention to how to prevent bleed-through if you are painting with a lighter color

I like to consider myself to be crafty but at a beginner level with a ton of enthusiasm. April’s class was perfect for me. She shows and explains everything in very thoughtful detail so you completely understand the priming and painting method. You can watch the videos whenever YOU want so there is no time pressure. And she has a lovely way about her. Plus you can see what projects your other “classmates” are working on which is fun. If you’re nervous to paint something big you can start with a step stool or tv table.
