This little bathroom refresh began with a vision I had to paint the linen closet door in our 1950’s guest bathroom teal. I’ve been slowly transforming our home decor to bohemian farmhouse one project and piece of decor at a time.

It started in our living room with this amazing bohemian rug. Then I painted our kitchen island teal last year (read about that HERE.) And when we found out we were expecting I got to transform an entire room into a nursery and, of course it reflected my new love of bohemian style as well. (The rug I found for that room is one of my favorite things in our home. I couldn’t find the exact one we have but this one is very similar and comes in a few different colors.)

Several years ago we renovated our home, but we decided to keep this bathroom original since the tile was in great shape and the colors weren’t too off the wall (some of our neighbors have pastel pink or blue tile, so we feel lucky to have peach and burgundy ;). I thought it would be easy to add a little bohemian flare to this space with a teal door and new shower curtain! I don’t know the rules of decorating and don’t necessarily follow the ones I do know, so maybe it’s not cool to mix the tile style and patterns with my bohemian vibes, but I like it.
Here’s the bathroom before my little bohemian refresh:
And here it is now! I had my followers on Facebook and Instagram vote between three shower curtain options I found on Amazon and it was almost a dead even tie between this one and a black and white style. I can’t tell y’all how happy it makes me that you embrace the bold!! And bold is what I love about the bohemian style so it just made sense to go with this one.
I love it so much! I used Abyss in the One Hour Enamel from Wise Owl Paint (I added a tiny bit of green to mine since I was trying to almost match the teal in the shower curtain, but this is really close to Abyss).

I can’t tell y’all how happy I am to have found Wise Owl Paint! I have been retailing their paint line now for over a year and they just make me so proud to represent their products. Everything they do is quality and cutting edge and I’m so glad to be a part of it and to get to offer it to my followers and customers.

Here are the videos I shared with my Instagram and Facebook followers showing the process of painting the door. And if you want to paint your kitchen cabinets, this paint is PERFECT for that job too! It self levels like a dream (meaning little to no brushstrokes or texture.) And it’s fully dried AND cured in a little more than an hour! That means you can paint your door or cabinets and hang them back up and use them the same day. Most paints and topcoats require a 30-day cure time during which you should be very gentle with them while the finish continues to harden. The One Hour Enamel dries to a rock hard finish, ready to use as normal within a couple of hours.

Check out my videos below to see how easy it is to use. And if you’re wondering where you can get this paint I can help with that. Just go HERE to check out the colors and/or place your order. Need help choosing a color? Happy to help with that as well! Just email me at april@rawhydefurnishings.com.

You can also drop a comment below! Have you tried the One Hour Enamel yet? What’s your favorite thing about it? If you haven’t used it, do you have plans to use it soon? What are you painting with it?
